So I get a phone call from a 505 area code number. I just miss picking up in time. When I look up the area code and realize it's from New Mexico - as in, University of, as in, a school I applied to - I immediately tried to call them back but got a busy signal. Then I went all stalker and looked the number up online to try and figure out who it was

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help laughing about that. Now I know if I ever get a call from U New Mexico hospital reminding me of an appointment, I'm not going crazy.

Not that you haven't figured it out by now but it's probably just an "outgoing" line. Whenever my mother calls it's always from some random number that starts 994 and never from her "direct" line. I don't ask questions, I didn't engineer it.
