Well, that's the downside of science writing aimed at the general public. You don't want to overwhelm them with too many technical details or they won't read it. But, he includes a very complete reference section at the end of the book, so there are plenty of opportunities to dig more into the topics yourself.

No I've never heard Kenna, and I definitely want to now. =) I also want to read up on some of that FACS facial stuff, haha.

I think we should file a joint grant to develop Guitar Hero as a model system for understanding this type of learning.

I think that's one of the main reasons I decided to study psychology. The brain is an amazing thing; how can we LEARN all that stuff? How does the mind retain it all?

Guitar Hero FTW. It sends me into an anxiety panic, but WHEW DOGGIE ain't it fun! I convinced my friend to bring it when we go on vacation in June...

... the rest of our friends will have tans, while him and I have forearms of STEEL!
