I fully expect this to get buried beneath a million New Year's resolutions...

Originally, I had wanted to dump this on the 25th, then rationalized the deadline to the first. Some are sketches, some are finished, you know the drill. I worked all day today trying to finish off two paintings and in retrospect probably should have worked solely on just one so I could have a single painting finished as opposed to two half- ( Read more... )

The photo pencil doesn't erase as well as a normal pencil since it's not supposed to have to be erased. So if I really muck up (like in that last panel) and have to draw and redraw on top of that, it shows and needs to be cleaned up still. Or because I don't do an erase and doublecheck, I miss things like Phylus' belt.

I wouldn't be surprised if Caden switches out the datapad casing so that it looks like he's reading something like Steven Hawkings, but it's really something like Anita Blake.

Dear God. How many kids do they have?

I think Raican is my favorite. He looks like he's thinking such deep, inspirational thoughts about inheriting the Pimp-King throne.

And if I haven't said it before, I love the way you draw Phylus. It's absolutely dead-on.

They currently have the six shown. They could always have more if I ever got the urge to play again, but there's numerous things to distract me away from it.

Phylus's hair is always an adventure.

Eight kids now. Breeding like bunnies. I think I'm just going to forget about names and just number the children.

Xero/Sims - <3

half-Twi'lek kids--hairy lekku are hysterical, but they'd be funnier on a female, because she could have "waxing my lekku" adventures and all. And where's the kid with hairy lekku but no head-hair? We could name him "reverse mohawk."

But seriously, that Family Tree? If you did that thing with blank holes for the photos, you could seriously make a *fortune* selling them. If I weren't dead broke from spoiling my kids rotten this xmas, I'd be throwing money at you right now to do one for my family. Seriously. If you are ever short on cash, set up a cheap e-commerce site and start selling that thing. You'd make shitloads.

Oooh, hairy lekku... if they pop out another one, that's how it's got to be, promise.

I'd be embarrassed to try to push the tree thing anywhere, heh. Photobucket sizes things down and the scan flattens it out but there are a couple construction issues (not taping the paper down during painting made it warped, cutting all those ovals out by hand, etc) that I'd feel like I was trying to rip people off.

...But I am always short on cash, so I guess it's something to think about.
