A little backstory: Dad was visiting a customer to give an estimate and realized that he had completely forgotten the customer's name. So instead of fessing up, he thought he'd be real slick.

Dad: (With his pencil and sheet out) So, how do you spell your last name again?
Customer: S-M-I-T-H.

Do you ever get any horrifically dumb pronounciations? I always know it's a telemarketer when they want to know if Mr. or Mrs. Cassie is there.
