I'm getting fed up with the goauche, I think. Instead of just the one, now I've got two unfinished goauche sketches. I can't win.
So I'm fiddling with ink and ignoring them for now.
Did this one entirely in technical pen. So all the pen lines are showing in the huge patches of black. We'll say that the perspective got a little... interesting past the doorway and I'm still undecided if I want to make the rest of the floor black, too.
I like this one better. I also colored in all the large areas with a brush instead of pen. It still looks uneven. Next time, I'm thinking either use a bigger brush or just color it all in in Photoshop.
I should be studying for the CST, of course. But I looked at the practice tests and they had questions that were all like:
According to OSHA regulations, what material would not be allowed in art room supplies?
A) Water
B) Acrylic
C) Lead
I feel like it's a trap. All the questions on the practice test were that easy. I'm going to get there and they're going to demand an indepth essay on the life of Dale Chihuly or somebody that I've never studied, I know this.
