A friend of mine decided to set up a challenge to write a poem a day for February. And, since she asked nicely, I decided to to do the challenge. So, here is today's poems, culled from a page of crap. And they're still quite crap. I was lacking for inspiration and looking out the window at the sky whilst wishing for my IR camera.

Hmm... Sat I went to A's birthday and had a good time. We kipped up in London that night as well, which was rather posh to my mind. Sunday I came back and taught my student about aperture and polarisers (last week we did shutter speed and nd 110 filters), but I was rather tired. The number of adverbs I've just deleted from my novel! It doesn't seem like enough really. Vim is like magic and I've learnt a magic spell to delete all adverbs. It is consisely written out as
:%s/\s*[a-zA-Z]\{-}ly\([^a-zA-Z]\)/\1/g
And no, I don't know exactly how it works either. But you can see why it feels like magic?
