Education and anger

If you hang around communities that are into various forms of social justice advocacy for a while there are a couple of themes you will start to hear repeatedly. I hear you. I'm dealing with trying to tone down the anger too. Yoga and meditation are helping with that somewhat. As I blogged recently, I'm trying to apply the principle of ahimsa to my speech as well as my actions.

Thanks for the kudos! I keep my LJ friendslist restricted to only people I've interacted with in person (and really only a small subset of those), as I post a fair amount of personal stuff friendslocked and don't want to deal with filters to remember who's allowed to see what. But I do appreciate the invitation :-)
