Be out of work for a year, be thwarted in attempts to go back to school, be without a car and out here in the middle of nowhere and *then* try and tell me about stagnation, sonny!

As for your stagnation challenge... take a year off of life for brain surgery. All you talked about, plus the loss of motor control and memory.
Mind you...I'm in a much much better place now, but I can still identify with the concept

Aside from that, going through a section of time being unmotivated even for you may be a good thing. It could be a sign that you need to take some time to let your brain melt away for a little while. You have had so much on your mind for so long; not to mention pushing yourself to finish it that this could be a break your subconscious is looking for. Give in for a while then I dunno, go for a swim at the Y or something to get yourself back into the swing of things. You have never been one to stay unmotivated for long so hang in there. You'll know when your ready.
