I watched Swades this weekend. I cannot categorize this as an exceptionally well done movie. But it is definitely a great movie. It was really moving. I could relate to many things that the hero feels(about not being in home country ( Read more... )

well i thought the music complemented the movie very well. plus i'm no fan of A.R.Rahman!

esp wen the ladkewallas cumover, then with melaram its the music n n face expressions that speak the dialogues!

yeah during lighter moments it was good, but it did lack a strong bgm in areas where it could have been better...IMHO:-)

Couple of songs could have been avoided for sure for such a story

And after all that, you sure bugged me a lot for the songs... dubble standards eh? Look at all the trouble to upload them to a place where you could find them!

lol...listening to songs is different from watching them as a part of the movie. all songs were great. But still I would say they could have been avoided.
