Wibbly-wobbly, timey-whimey stuff. I'm not too sure Moffat wants to get out of the cornor so fast. But, it could be the Dream Lord which is really the Doctor's psyche. Where's the psychic pollen from this time?

OK, here's a wild idea - When we saw the Dream Lord's face reflected in the Tradis console at the end of Amy's Choice, maybe that meant he'd somehow become part of the Tardis itself. Then, the exploding Tardis was used to reboot the Universe, and that set him free! Or something! LOL
