Short and Sweet- all aboard the Biopsy Train

I thought about keeping this news with just a couple close friends until I knew more, but then realized I've seen the power of good will and healing thoughts on LJ, so why the hell wouldn't I want me summa dat??!!!

A mo or so ago- I started undergoing a health scare- I discovered today it's not quite over.  We're officially in the biopsy phase.  ( Read more... )

Mom referred to it as "taking out the nursery, and putting in a rec room"...so I vote that as soon as all the dust from the renovation settles (if indeed there's any renovatin' at all), we should totally go on a shopping spree to decorate the new playroom! *wink*

...Hell, I think we should do that even if there -isn't- any renovation. You deserve fancy schmancy stuff. :-D

So when my wife (silvermoon7923) got dressed this morning, she donned her pink Minnesota Wild hockey jersey, as there was a breast cancer awareness event going on at work.

When she went in to wake up our son for school (he's all of 2yrs old, and much like his father, ahem, me, when he gets up...that is, mostly dead to the world) he took one look at her through his bleary eyes and said "COOL MOMMA!"
