There is never, ever, ever a good time for sad news, but at least this time it has a happy ending. Our favorite and most dear bass master, jesse, is leaving us. He will be moving to NC next month with his wife sarah, as she embarks on her scientific career. While we are saddened that Jesse and Sarah are leaving the southside, we acknowledge all

I appreciate the sentiment and will definitely miss the frequent PMT jammage. I have truly enjoyed playing music with the PMT and also getting to know you and Jimbo and hang out on the freakin weekends. I feel that we have developed the Banjo Rock into a realm it has never before reached, and hopefully you will keep the Rock alive for the rest of eternity with your magical pickin. I forsee some PMT reunion jammage taking place as frequently as possible, and who knows, maybe we'll hit up the big A-town (Asheville, not Atlanta) for a jam or 2.

The Bassmaster is a most powerful peaceful warrior who sings like an angel (and his picking leaves us breathless). He will be missed and never, ever forgotten. I won't say the word "gone" because he won't be. Jesse will always be around, in our hearts, minds, and in our little eardrums too (thanks to modern technocrap), and even in person every once in a while if we're lucky.

I wish the Bassmaster and his family a safe and happy journey and am confident that they will be wildly successful in all that they seek to achieve. It is a true comfort knowing that the Bassmaster is out there spreading the word of the gentle true spirit and performing random acts of kindness in the Hazfleezian tradition. (He has a summa cum laude in humanity, in case you didn't already know).
