In the 1930s, Jimmie Foxx set records as the youngest player to reach many of the home run milestones: 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, and 500. His career ended with a whimper and 534 HR. (He went on to manage an "All-American Girls" team; Tom Hanks' character in A League of Their Own was based on Foxx
