Carlos Delgado got career hits 2000 to 2003 yesterday. He could reach 500 HR and 500 2B next season, which should almost guarantee the Hall of Fame for him

The question is: Do you think Delgado goes in as a Blue Jay?
I heard somewhere that the Hall recently took away the choice of the individual entering the hall after some rediculous decisions (entrants choosing teams they spend a half season with). Any confirmation to that rumour?
Yes, the Hall of Fame started choosing for players back in 2001. Here's the word from Cooperstown:
The choice of which team’s logo appears on a player’s plaque is the Museum's decision, though we always consider the wishes of an inductee. As a history Museum, it's important that the logo be emblematic of the historical accomplishments of that player's career. A player's election to the Hall of Fame is a career achievement, and as such, every team for whom he played is listed on the plaque; however, the logo selection is based on where that player makes his most indelible mark.
I think that Alomar will be part of the 2010 class. He played 5 seasons with the Jays, and no more than 3 with anyone else, and he only won the World Series with the Jays; so they might make him go in as a Jay. As a 12-time All-Star, a 10-time Gold Glover, and a 4-time Silver Slugger, he should make it.
