My collection has expanded recently, mostly due to the cheap DVDs & Blu-rays available at Walmart, but also HMV. I had received 6 free Blu-ray movies when I purchased a Blu-ray player in July 2009. (They were not supposed to be included as part of a promotion or my negotiations; the guy at Future Shop just threw them in after we had made a deal.)
My collection before the recent expansion:
A Beautiful Mind (DVD)
WALL-E (DVD)
Slumdog Millionaire (DVD)
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (DVD)
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (DVD)
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (DVD)
27 Dresses (free Blu-ray)
The Devil Wears Prada (free Blu-ray)
Alien vs. Predator - Requiem (free Blu-ray) - I haven't watched it & probably never will
The Day After Tomorrow (free Blu-ray)
I, Robot (free Blu-ray)
Kingdom of Heaven (free Blu-ray)
Recent additions (last month or two):
The Shawshank Redemption ($5 DVD)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind ($5 Blu-ray)
The Prestige ($10 Blu-ray)
Batman Begins ($10 Blu-ray)
Casino Royale ($10 Blu-ray)
Hot Fuzz ($10 Blu-ray)
Shaun of the Dead ($10 Blu-ray)
Iron Man ($10 DVD)
Horton Hears a Who! ($5 DVD)
Zoolander ($5 DVD)
Hairspray ($5 DVD)
The Princess Bride ($10 DVD)
I have the Star Wars trilogy (the good one) and Gladiator on VHS. I will replace Gladiator if I can get it cheap ($5-10 DVD or $10-15 Blu-ray). Star Wars is supposed to come out on Blu-ray in 2011.
