I think that your frustrations are understandable and he sounds a bit young for first grade anyway. Or maybe I was a year too old going into it. :p

It is impossible to love all the children that come your way, it just not! and when they act like that...sheesh...the fact that you worry shows just how awesome you are!

Like Ro says he sounds way too you, and as hard as it sounds you can't sacrifice your class just for one or even two...

Ok first off you are not a bad teacher or a bad person and secondly, you yelled - I have real problems imagining you yelling Nikki and thirdly ;) venting is good, venting calms the soul.

I felt better after I posted, and today realized I'm not a bad teacher--I just don't have the experience yet to deal with kids like Joey. Ivan I can actually handle by himself. But, oh HAPPY HAPPY news!!!!!!! I want to put it in the main LJ section, tho.... ;)
