Rose broke away from the embrace of the Clone when she heard the engines of the TARDIS start up. Her Doctor, the one she came back for, the one she loved, was disappearing from her life forever, leaving her with his clone. She stared in shock at the spot where the TARDIS had vanished...
...and sat up abruptly in bed. "Aaaugh!" she gasped. It took her a moment to realize where she was. She turned and fumbled for the lamp on her end table. Light flooded the room.
"Honey! Wake up! You won't believe the dream I just had!"
"Mmph," muttered the man still buried under the duvet.
"Don't you want to hear about it?"
He finally woke, rolled over and turned on his lamp, then turned back to Rose. Sleepy blue eyes regarded her as he murmured in his Northern accent, "All right Rose, what is it?"
"I had this weird dream, you'd burst into flame and turned into a really pretty guy, and we had all sorts of weird adventures with cat people and Madame De Pompadour and cybermen, and then we got separated, and I got back to you, but you dumped me in an alternate universe with your clone and left again..."
"Rose, it was just a dream. It's okay. Go back to sleep."
"It was just so weird." Rose turned off her light, and the Doctor turned off his.
A few moments later, the Doctor turned his light back on. "What do you mean, 'really pretty guy'?!"
"Go to sleep, Doctor," murmured Rose. "You know, you really should wear a suit..."

(Yes, it's also a spoof of the "Newhart" finale. It just seemed to work. ;) )
