I've got just a few days until I go to a convention in South Carolina and, while there, deliver my manuscript into the hands of my acquisitions editor. I'm finishing the last read-through now, and catching just a few minor mistakes

Ok so I've been pretty much a bad LJ friend here.. but I have been reading the book writing saga.

I like the marketing approach. If anything, that line would make me stop and take a look inside just for the curiousity factor. I tend to do that with reading material in general - the whole scan for interesting points and such.

In the end, you'll be published and that by itself is an accomplishment!
