I was watching the news, and they were talking about how they had 360+ dogs at the dog shelter last night, and how they're going to have to start putting them down if someone doesn't adopt them. Sadly there are dogs wandering around outside with no food and freezing temperatures who can't get into shelters because there just isn't enough room.
If only there was enough shelters for every dog :( and if only there were more responsible owners.

Zach doesn't want to get brutus fixed. Thankfully he isn't a crazy humping machine, or else I would have snuck behind his back and done it. He wanted to breed him because he's AKC registered, and he's a beautiful dog (people have actually approached us about it at the dog park). I just don't feel comfortable breeding him and possibly have one of them end up at the pound or take away from the possibility of taking good homes away from good, homeless dogs
