So how did the referendum go?

It would have been hard for us to do worse. But democracy triumphed.

Whose fault was it?

Ours.

Is the issue dead in Ontario?

Yes.

Is the issue dead federally?

Probably.

What about Saskatchewan?

It's either idiocy or another nail in the coffin.

I feel post-referendum guilt. What can I do to help the
cause?

Well, ya got me there. Never heard a thing about it until this. If the nail in the coffin is the NDP losing, what's the idiocy?

How's K-W doing? I was thinking of the emus yesterday, with the snow coming down.

I never actually had any employment in K-W. I was just there because L. was at Laurier.

I'm glad to hear the emus won't be shivering through another winter. I hope they've gone someplace nicer. I wonder what they did with the weird geese--I don't think they even had a sign. There hadn't been a Bacon or Eggs already for a little while when we moved--but I guess there might have been new ones again more recently. Dora (urg), I guess, would be the baby llama that appeared in the summer. Swans appeared in the pen last fall/winter, too....
