So Kyle is working 2 12 hour shifts this weekend. That's 24 hours in 2 days. There are 48 hours in 2 days and he is working for half of them. I know we both have to work but I miss him. You know what else makes me angry? How someone can slack off for years of school and do good on the stupid ACT and get accepted into colleges that won't take me even though I work hard for my grades all my life. That's bullcrap

I know exactly what you mean. It makes me mad too. I've busted my tail for as long as I can remember in hopes of a getting some scholarships and the people who don't do anything but somehow seem to do great on the ACT get everything paid for. That's definitely twisted.

yea, colleges are weird like that. The ACT does affect your first college a LOT...but if you transfer to another college, they don't even look at it, so that's good. And people who dont have much money can get a big grant or loan, and that's good i think, gives more opportunities. BUT people whose parents make too much money cant get a single loan or grant...I this from experience. And it sucks because it comes straight out of the pocket for us and that isn't fair. So I have to rely on whatever scholarships i can get my hands on.
