Uberhood: Desiderata Valley
As I said in my last Uberhood post, I'd be playing Desiderata Valley next. I popped into all of their houses for a little while when Free Time first came out, but didn't really play them much at all, except the Contrarys. Once again, gender preferences were randomized except for married couples who remained straight.
John Mole: This was my first time really playing him, so I had nothing special planned for him. I know EAxis set it up so he and Sharon Wirth or Natasha Una get together, but I decided against that.
He didn't get much of a make-over, just new clothes and I took off those ugly sunglasses. He's less mysterious, but better looking.
While Downtown, he met Circe Beaker whom he has two bolts with. They kept heart-farting each other, and became fast friends.
Circe came over most nights, and while they kept hopping into bed, she refused to cheat on Loki. Boo!
The Aspir Family: Last time I played them, Victor and Elizabeth had another baby and that was it.
Elizabeth was the only one to get a make-over.
Elizabeth got asked on an outing by Armand DeBateau, and of course he brought along Samantha Cordial. She has THREE bolts with Luis!
She rejected his advances, but I wasn't going to give up. I mean, it's THREE bolts!
Pauline grew up and is very cute. I can't wait to see her as a teen, but that won't be for quite awhile.
She's a really fast learner. :)
At the end of the season, I tried again with Sam and Luis, still no. When I get back to playing Belladonna Cove, she'll have a child with Luis, then since he's going to die soon anyway, she'll still marry Grabiel. Good plan. :D
The Contrary Family: I really liked playing them when FT first came out. Edward was my guinea pig for the Summon Aliens perk and he wound up with twins!

Rick post make-over. Edward stayed how he is, because he's cute and nerdy. :)
Of course they went on an outing, but they didn't meet anyone interesting or do anything noteworthy.
While waiting for the cab, Rick and Opal lost their enemy status while talking about peace. :)

Does anyone know why the sheets on beds that take the bedding texture for another part of the bed don't work? It's not a huge problem, but it does bug me.
If for some reason you didn't figure it out, Edward got abducted. :)
Rick met Angela Pleasant online, and they have two bolts. That would be an interesting pairing. I'll see what happens when they go to college.
But for now, Rick has his sights on Sofia Baldwin, also two bolts.

Then baby Millie was born, and everyone loves her. :)
The Jocque Family: I've never played them before. I loaded them up and then left the house. But last time I played the Megahood, Sophia was having an affair with Daniel Pleasant.
Violet, still sporty but a little more girly.
Sophia, just less ugly. Marcel stayed the same. Men usually keep their looks unless they're totally terrible.

Violet brought Tara DeBateau home from school and she was attacked by Shotgun, but still looked adorable.
She has two bolts with Dirk Dreamer. I'll keep that in consideration when the second group of teens go to college.
Natasha Una: She was my first experience with a Grilled Cheese Sim, but I didn't play her long either. According to her biography she's meant to get with John Mole, but in my game she's gay.
She was part of the welcome wagon at the Contrary's house, and got struck by lightening...
All better. :)

I've never messed around with influence much before, so I decided to try it out now.
They just needed a little push.

Jodi Larson strolled by and they actually got along! Jodi's also gay, but they have negative bolts. Oh well.

Nothing else happened, but she did get into the zone!
The Bell Family: I never played them either, just loaded them up and checked them out. I didn't have anything planned for them either, but Sharon is NOT getting with John Mole.

Lazlo Curious rejected the adorable Heather Huffington for her first kiss. That would have been and interesting couple if it had worked out. Maybe I'll work on it when I get to Strangetown.
Sugar Cube Bowling was overflowing with Uni Sims that night, so Sharon asked Jonah Powers on a date.
It's not what it looks like, even though they're both Romance.
They wanted to take pictures together. :)

Sharon met this old guy, and I was going to have her ask him on a date but then...
He set her up on a date with Brandon Lillard.
What was the happy couple up to during all of this? Kissing and flirting. It's all they wanted to do, and it often took place early in the morning in the bathroom, since they work nearly opposite schedules.
Issac also often rolled wants to appreciate and tickle Sharon. He also wanted to learn couple's counseling, and she had the want to flirt with him. Not just flirt, but specifically flirt with Issac.
Friday evening, Daniel grew up. He's less cute, but more interesting. I decided to make him Knowledge, since he spent a lot of time skilling as a child.
And that was Desiderata Valley. The families are less interesting than the others, maybe because I've never really played them so I didn't have much to work with. Next will be Downtown. There's only three households there, and I'm in the middle of playing one of them. :)
