you know that plaque on the gym that commemorates vietnam war victims from irvington? and there is a quote on it that says "the protectors know a flavor of life that the protected will never understand" SOMETHIING like that. wellll its true. we should appreciate the soldiers in Iraq. i don't care if people think "oh, we shouldn't even BE IN WAR" ( Read more... )

This is where we differ, in that I have absolutely no pride for Mission. School pride is simply misplaced personal pride.

I love how you wrote "It's really sad" and then followed it by "you know I feel so happy." It's so oxymoronic, it's great. =D

Btw, I didn't think anyone else noticed the plaque. Anyway, people who oppose the war don't necessarily oppose our soldiers. They're great and I think it's sad that they're dying for a worthless cause.
