14/365 Ducks and Library Books

Ed and Gwenno gave Nate this hat for Christmas. He wore it out today for a trip to the local library and shops. He's well into books so we try and go every week to get some new stories. After the library we went for a quick walk around the duck pond. Nate was pretty unimpressed by the wildlife but the geese seemed quite interested in him.

Yeah! Since I won´t get the opportunity to dress my kid up in frilly dresses I´ve figured that hats with ears is the way to go...tee-hee

Hats with ears. It's the way forward.

Since actually having a kid and shopping for clothes, I have to say I like the boys stuff better. Baby girl stuff here is all pastel pink with "Little Princess" or some such gag worthy text. Older girl stuff is cute but tiny baby stuff is too twee. Baby boys get alien, bear, monster and band/rock star stuff. Way cooler.
