Apparently guinness isn't vegan.

This makes me sad.

apparently they use fish, uh, by-products which makes cask-conditioned ales evil.

there's plenty on google- here's two links.

the good news is hoegaarden is still vegan.

and you shall find mail in that little steel slot soon. woo snailmail.

Sorry, man...but veganism is...well...dumb.

Where do you draw the line on "animal" products? All beer (and wine and booze) are the products of fermentation by yeast.. But Hoegaarden is vegan because yeast aren't "cute"? (yeah, I know....there are plenty of fish and bugs and things that ain't cute either).

Do you dislike antibiotics because they kill bacteria? Would you choose not to boil lake water for drinking because you don't want to hurt the protozoa? Probably not...which goes to show that the line you draw is more or less arbitrary and therefore silly.

I can more or less understand vegetarianism, but veganism is just ridiculous. Humans are omnivores....gimme some steak and a salad!
