giant. tears.and i am yet to mail the the card i meant to send around christmas. well, looks like that shan't happen. and the engineering department should have a memorial service soon. well they'd better, because the woman was just wonderful, and inspiring, and was frank and candid and stubborn and opinionated, yet wasn't completely tactless. sigh ( Read more... )

Does engineering dept. have a club for the students? Maybe they could do something, if the profs don't really organize something.

well, but our SWE chapter's crap.

i think there's going to be a memorial service in february so that both umass and smith students can make it.

the only person in our engineering program i didn't want to shoot.
