hello i'd just like to ask a couple more questions. interesting cause you have here!

is it an RGS effort or is it part of an international programme? so essentially is it like volunteers go overseas to help out or do we help out in our area i.e. Singapore? although by "living below poverty-line" i take it it's out of Singapore?

thanks a lot!

hello, hongchuan.

po:st-it isn't actually an rgs effort. the three of us behind po:st-it simply decided to only recruit within rgs for the main committee in order to spare ourselves an awkwardly long ice-breaking period. once we begin scouting for volunteers, we will open application to students from several schools across the country.

nope, po:st-it is not part of an international programme. in fact, it was only founded recently. we are, however, hoping to get backing from the ASEAN youth programme.

yes, you're right, the project is based on a community in an ASEAN country out of singapore. after all, like you've pointed out, singapore generally does not have anyone who falls under the category of the 'abject poor'. & these are the people targeted by the united nations' millennium development goals.

thank you very much for your interest!

if you ever decide to make this bigger (ie recruiting people from other countries) contact me, i'm sure the schools here would like to help out.
