Update on my friend at work
Hey all
I talked to B (the lady I work with) and she told me that the doctor told her that the cancer was in stage 3. He's not even sure if she can do the chemo because of other medical issues she has. Among them, she only has one kidney and he's not sure if her body will let her do the chemo properly. He also thinks that it might be in her organs...in which case, she really doesn't know what's going to happen next.
Y'all keep all kinds of good thoughts for her, okay?
When she called yesterday, she was as calm as could be. When she talked to another girl I work with (who had been sick for a couple of days), she even asked how J was feeling. J was bowled over by the fact that B was asking how she was doing when B was calling to let us know that the doctor had diagnosed her with cancer.
Like I said before, please offer up prayers to whatever deity you believe in and keep good thoughts.
