Ben I love you but your vow is stupid, especially if you ever want to be a professional in the music world.

Seriously, why should people have to put in the extra effort and time to keep calling you bastards? I am angry.

Alex has a point about making it in the world of music or any business for that matter, people need to be able to get ahold of you and won't bother calling you over and over again

I agree with alex--not checking your voicemail is silly

B/c then you would miss out on people like me who leave extremely stupid and funny messages b/c they dont know what they are talking about and then you wont be able to sit there and laugh at them and be like "Why are they still talking?"...thats the joy of voicemail.

Hey buddy. I gotta agree with Alex and grace. If a studio is offering you a job, or even if your school is trying to reach you on something, they're going to call you, leave a message, and never call you again. What you need to realize is that in the real world, people don't care about you. This can be an awesome thing because they don't care if you come to class, don't care if you leave early, don't care if you do anything really. But for real stuff, like when they're offering you a job as a recording tech, if you don't call them back within a day or so they're just going to shrug you off and move to the next guy on their list. I know checking vmail can be tedious, but it's necessary and not doing it anymore would be incredibly foolish.
