I am sure Farah will appreciate this: My favorite song of the past few weeks has become "Six Months in a Leaky Boat". It used to come on the Muzak all the time at Kerbey Lane. Once I figured what the song was actually about I finally realized how great the song is

I love that song! Even though I always confused Neil Finn and John Lennon - to my credit, though, that one Crowded House song is very latter-day Lennon inspired...

How could I forget the joy of Squabs on Forty fab (or whatever it was called). Remember when we finally got them to play it at Elysium, and everyone left the dance floor?

Unrelatedly, I had been thinking about you lately, because ELO has been popping up in strange places, and a guy from my school offered discounted tickets to see Xanadu on Broadway.

it's one of my favorite split enz songs - although "one step ahead" is probably my all time fave.

and who can forget ELO? i play ELO on a quotidien basis as ms. dutarte would say.
