i'm at a loss as to what he's going to use for stage banter. every other american band that tours here comes out the old "Wow, fuck, [insert comment about how cool everyone is], [slurps beer from side of stage], [insert comment how everyone's cool because we all drink so much beer all the time]!" but this man is the (albeit unwilling) forefather of the straight edge movement, so there'll be none of that rubbish. and no booze/drunkards at a show. and it's at a gallery. it's going to be a wonderful change.
Well, that is tough. the grandfather of sXe, minor threat, fugazi, embrace, egghunt and DISCHORD RECORDS or.... some uni books. think of the stories you can tell if you see mr. mackaye. for example, you can tell your friends thios tale:
It's not like I'll even read the uni books anyway so Mackaye is probably a worthier investment. And spending money = a great way to motivate myself to find some form of employment, right?
... and the other thing is, since it's sXe, there won't be any Booze, and if there's no Booze, you can't blow cash on Booze! (which a richer ness and leads to my next conclusion: all straight edgers must be rich.) also, just so you know, there also playing another show, on the 19th, in the Cloud Room, or whatever the hell it's called. right now, i'm planning to go to both... cause there is no such thing as "too much mackaye."
i only just heard some of their stuff of their new album and it is, liek, very appealing. i guarantee it will justify the picking of TWO (2!) trays of berries - mainly because i've also convinced Sam the-afro-bearded-man Martin to come along. ooooh yes.
Well, that's mature. I wasn't trying to make a joke either, I just seriously thought your face too was excited about prospect of me ranting about RATM reforming and touring again. Damn about the disharmony between your face and, you know, your mind. Sucks.
