OK, who were those dead Ajira people? Didn't Hurley buy all the seats on the flight so no innocent people would get stuck on the island?
I don't think Sawyer is really into Kate. I think he feels sort of responsible for her, and also he wants her to back him up when the time comes to make their escape.
Hurley tried, but wasn't able to get all the seats. In one of the earlier eps, they show him freaking out at the Ajira gate when he sees that they sold tix to other passengers.
I def. think Smokey has been manipulating Ben. It was Smokey in Jacob's cabin the whole time, is my theory.
I like the alt timelines now. It's almost like, what are people's "true" natures had Jacob not intervened in their lives. Sawyer is still obsessed with vengeance and all dark and brooding and lonely, but he is (as demonstrated on the Island) ultimately a good caring guy (or tries to be).
I cannot wait till next week! Aaahh! Alpert backstory!!!
Wouldn't it be cool if Kate serves as some sort of a catalyst and through his relationship with her he grows as a person? I would love to see the Losties act in each others' lives in that way.
