The hilarity of getting up at 3.30 can only be topped up by arriving to the airport and finding that your flight has been cancelled. There was an alternative flight, but I wouldn't have made the meeting anyway (morning meeting at ESTEC), so at least I got a couple of hours of sleep. And the wasted time does count as work, so not all is lost
