Belated Review: Sherlock Holmes

I thoroughly enjoyed A Study in Pink. I thought it was a very good adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, and it worked remarkably well in a modern setting.

Contains spoilers for both A Study in Pink and A Study in Scarlet )

This pretty much sums up my thoughts exactly :)

While Mycroft was indeed over the top, I did love the Mycroft/Moriarty fake-out.

"So, it really is a childish feud?"

Otherwise, I agree with pretty much everything you said. Oh, and could someone who's read more of the Doyle stories confirm this suspicion of mine: I heard a long time ago that Watson's wound moves from his leg to his shoulder in Doyle's stories (presumably due to bad notekeeping on the author's part). If this is true, then I thought that Moffat referenced it very cleverly.
