I'm making the effort to quit smoking by the end of the year. This week, I decided to not smoke while I'm at work - not on my breaks, not on my lunch hour, not before or after I clock in. To put it into a little perspective, I leave my house at 12:30, make it back into my car by 10:30. That's 10 hours of being smoke-free, and that's exciting to me ( Read more... )

sooo many parallels to my life present and not so distant in your post....first, smoking...quitting is hard but it's not as hard and most make it out to be...today is my month anniversary of quitting and i'm about to post about it in a bit. :)
i just ordered an iphone sunday ...did you get the 16GB like I did? Did it ship earlier than they said or as late as possible...I cannot wait for mine to arrive!
yoga and meditation is a great idea...it will definitely help you with your quitting smoking goal...try pilates as well....i know it seems/is girly but it's my fave of the three...
anyway, wishing you the best on your new goals!

I bought an 8gig iPhone and it's just been fabulous. It arrived a day earier, so I saw that as an extra day of getting to play with my new phone! Anyway, Congratulations on your month-long anniversary! I am very proud of you, and look forward to reading more about the experiences you've had. You were definitely an inspiration to get the ball rolling!

I don't want to start anew, because I'll feel like the journey we've been on thus far was a complete waste of time. I love and am thankful for what we've had... Let's just keep going towards where the maps say to go. Let's continue to make the adventure worth exploring. Let's do it holding hands, whoever you are.

I will cuddle with you anyway. Just as long as you wash that proactiv crap off your face.

I love to read "Slave to my Stereotype" if you'd let me.

Oh! I found that amazing christmas card you sent me a few years back. You are just so amazing.
