Summary: Takaki has never forgotten what Daiki said to him 2 years ago and decided to stupidly hurt him back. (Don't mind the crappy summary, i added some stuffs to it.)
For the past 2 weeks, Daiki had been learning from Kei’s mom on how to make a yummy bento. Although it is tough work since he had to concentrate on his studies as well, Daiki wanted the bento to be perfect so he stayed up a few nights to practice making it at home even after coming back from Kei’s house.
Yossha! Finally, it looks like a nice bento. I hope he likes my bento. Daiki looked at the finished bento and smiled sweetly at it. I’m going to give it to him tomorrow for lunch! I wonder what he’ll think of it~
He placed the bento beside his school bag and went back to his room but he was too nervous about giving that bento to Takaki and he only managed to sleep for a few hours.
“Uwah! Dai-chan! What happened to you?!” Kei tried to keep his laughter from seeing a penguin with dark eye circles. “Ooh, a rare species of penguin plus panda! Hahaha!” Kei put his hands around the short one’s shoulders.
“Oi! I’m not! It’s just that I have to give this to you know, that guy. Remember?” Daiki held the box up and showed Kei. “Ohh, wait, didn’t you come to school with him today? I thought you guys always do that.”
Daiki sighed. “He woke up late today and told me to come first. And I’m nervous, what if he doesn’t like it at all?” Daiki still has that nervous look on his face.
“He will, Dai-chan! You’ve been staying up to perfect it and you had my mom helping you out, it’ll be good, don’t worry!” Kei gave Daiki a thumbs-up.
“B-but-” “No buts, we gotta go to class now, hurry up!” Kei dragged the poor boy and they went to their respective classes.

Lunch Time..
Daiki and Kei were sitting at their usual table, waiting for two slowpokes to come. “Yo!” Takaki reached first and took a seat beside the shortest boy. “Ah, Dai-chan, sorry you had to come to school on your own today!” Takaki bowed his head down slightly to Daiki. “It’s okay.” Daiki patted the tall one’s shoulder. Takaki looked up and smiled at Daiki causing the younger’s cheeks to turn red.
“Ahem.” Kei stared at the two figures in front of him who probably forgotten that he was there.
“The two of you, you could just take another table there and do your lovey dovey stuffs there you know. And just to tell you, I’m still here existing.” He pointed to himself and giving a sacarstic smile towards them.
“We are not doing that Kei!” Daiki pouted but was still blushing a little.
“Are you by any chance, jealous, Inoo?” Takaki grinned.
“Why would I~ I have my Kou-chan.” Kei grinned back.
“Speaking of him, where on earth is he. I’m gonna go find my lost puppy, you may take the chance to do whatever you like now my dear friends. See you!” Kei winked at Daiki, since he knew that it was a chance for him to give Takaki the bento and then headed off to find his boyfriend.
“Okay, so it’s just the both of us then~” Takaki stretched his arms out.
“Um, Takaki, can i, uh..” Daiki was stuck in his sentence.
“Yes?” Takaki turned to look at Daiki which obviously made him look down, blushing in progress.
“Um, I made a bento for you today because you always made one for me and i thought i shall repay your kindness~ please acccept this!” Daiki held the bento in front of Takaki’s face while his head is still down, and was relieved when he felt Takaki taking it.
“Uwah, thanks a lot chibi! Although I didn't make one for you today because i ws late, I received one from you instead!” Takaki ruffles the penguin’s hair which makes the latter's heart go doki-doki and then starts to open up the bento to eat.
Daiki nervously stared at him eating as he wanted to know what reaction will the person who’s eating his food show.
While eating, Takaki felt that Daiki’s stare is too intense and he can’t concentrate on his lunch. He picked up a piece of meat and stuffed it into Daiki’s mouth.
“You’re staring too long chibi. I can’t eat properly you know.” Takaki chuckled when he saw the shocked penguin face as a result of him stuffing the food in and continued with his food. “The food’s really good! Did you make this all by yourself?”
Daiki nodded and looked elsewhere instead, relieved that the food was alright but after some time, he himself had no idea how he ended up sharing the bento with Takaki Yuya. He liked it though.
After finishing their lunch, Daiki put away the box and they both went back to class together.
While walking back to class, Daiki thought of something. “Takaki? Will you be in class tomorrow during free period?”
“I guess so, why chibi?”
“I just wanted to know. Can I go look for you during that time?” Daiki starts to fiddle with his fingers.
“Yeah you could. I’ll wait for you then.” Takaki gave a soft smile to the short latter and patted his head and they proceeded to go into their classes seperately.

During the night..
“Moshi moshi? Kei-chan?” Daiki greeted the person on the other line.
“Eh, Dai-chan! Yes?”
“I was wondering, you know tomorrow.."
“What's with tomorrow?”
“I was thinking that what if I give Takaki some chocolates tomorrow? Is it a good idea?”
“EH?! TAKAKI?! Why? My dear friend, you are indeed in love with him right? Are you going to confess?!”
“....”
“I take that as a YES. So, maybe you wanna come over now? We could make some together! I can give some to Kou-chan too!”
“Oh okay, I’ll be right there then..” Daiki hung up the phone.
Ah, this Dai-chan is indeed in love with that Takaki Yuya, they two make a perfect couple though~ Kei thought to himself.

Daiki reached Kei’s house in a few mins as they stay a few houses away from each other, and soon, they are in the middle of making the chocolates.
“So, Dai-chan, why didn’t you tell me before that you like Takaki?” Kei mixed the chocolates while asking.
“Um, I wasn’t really sure how i felt previously.” Daiki poured the mixture into the moulds.
“Oh, so now you’ve figured it out? Wish you luck!” Kei patted his friend’s back. He was quite sure that Takaki had some feelings for his best friend too, so everything would turn out perfect! That’s what he thought.
Daiki could only blush but have some nervousness for tomorrow as he wondered what the outcome will be like.
Because Takaki sent him to and fro from school and home and made bentos for him everyday and they got closer and closer to each other.
And sometimes Daiki noticed that Takaki tend to blush sometimes too, whenever he does something with him.
He could only wait for tomorrow to come.
