520w; PG - Mostly posting what I've accumulated over the past whenever for snowqueenofhoth because she thinks I write nothing but angst and sadness. :c And yes, I know the YoFuji is not happy, but most of the rest is! Some of the stuff is related so I tried to kind of break it up into such.
1. Everything was too bright, too harsh, and too cold. Taisuke tried to stand but his legs gave and he crumpled. Then everything was black.
He dreamed of a voice in the dark - Kitayama's voice. Kitayama was angry (or maybe just upset) "Damn, Fujigaya, stay with me. Stay with me."
2. Yokoo already knows - doesn't even need to look anymore - that Fujigaya's fingers are crossed behind his back. "Hey Liar."
3. Nikaido's temper is like storm-wind.
4. Ryu's mad and he wants to stay that way. But when Ryouta shuffles over, apologetic in a puppy-hopeful way, Ryu can't help but forgive him.
5. Kevin taps out a half dozen messages but whenever he finishes, he hesitates. He can't bring himself to hit 'send' so Xander never gets them.
6. "Whose side you on anyway?" Fujigaya demanded as fire licked at their feet. Meisa smiled, welcoming the flames. "Who said there were sides?"
Kevin's hands were bleeding through the bandages as he gripped his sword, but Fujigaya was bearing down him in again, wings spread in doom.
7. Yokoo is seventeen when Fujigaya says the first 'I love you'. It's a lie, and Yokoo knows it, but he kisses back anyway.
The problem is when Fujigaya actually believes his own lies because he believes with such intensity that Yokoo wants to believe them too.
Yokoo plays along anyway, ignoring looks of longing that Fujigaya wears when Tsubasa's around and how Fujigaya presses extra close to Koki.
8. "I like it," Yamada said, fussing at Yuma's jacket before shyly withdrawing his hands. "Red looks good on you."
They stare at each other in awkward silence for a good five minutes before Yamada caves, leaning forward to firmly press his lips to Yuma's.
What surprised Yamada was how quickly Yuma kissed back.
"I thought," Yamada gasped, but Yuma was already shaking his head. "Oh..." And Yuma kissed him again before he could mourn wasted time.
9. "Yara, Yara, Yara," Yamamoto spins closer, laughing and bright-eyed as Yara catches him, arm around waist. "Yaracchi~♥"
10. It startles Yara to realize that Yamamoto is no longer the awkward-limbed boy he once was. Instead, though still untamed, he is dazzling.
11. Oftentimes Yamamoto's high tension is useful, buoying Yara's mood on difficult days, however - "Slow down," Yara says, pulling him closer.
12. It surprised Yara when Yamamoto caught onto his sleeve, biting his lip nervously. "I just... I don't want to get left behind, Tomo."
13. "Keep your hands off Yasui," Takada said, but Nakajima just grinned. "What if he wants my hands on him?" Nose wrinkled, Yasui left the room.
14. Fujigaya watched as Kitayama leaped up onto the stone wall, before the assassin turned back to him and held a hand out. "Ready, Princess?"
15. In Kawai's opinion, summing up Hasshi's personal tastes is easy, as he's dated Takaki, Tottsu, Fujigaya, and Yasui. "He likes older women."
16. Totsuka is quick to rescue Yasui from Hashimoto's clutches. It's not that Hashimoto means harm, but probably some laws are being broken.
17. "I'm teaching you a new dance, Taipi," Senga explained as he took one of Fujigaya's hands in his own and placed the other on his shoulder.
