Yokoo isn’t sure what would happen when he returned home after six years. It had been a long six years, filled with agony and remorse that befit a half-hearted solider. But with peace now more a dream than a reality, he was proud to return home. He expected the welcoming cheers and the proud gazes of those around him, but all of that fell to the wayside as he turned to find Fujigaya standing there, his heart leaping with joy. But something was not right with this picture, for though Yokoo had anticipated this reunion every night for the past six years…
This… This was not what he was expecting.
Fujigaya launched himself at Yokoo, and everyone scrambled away with cries of alarm, as Fujigaya began to claw and wrench and destroy every bit of Yokoo he could touch, all the while howling in rage.
“What the hell,” Yokoo gasped, clutching at his face, at his torn cheek, as Kitayama and Kawai yanked Fujigaya off of him. Pain tore at him, but he isn’t sure what’s really hurting. “Taisuke, wha-“
“Fuck you,” Fujigaya screamed, so livid there were tears in his eyes, choking on his anger with a harsh cry. It was if something feral had eaten away at Fujigaya’s soul, replacing his whimsy with wild, untamed fury. “Fuck you, you coward. You left without saying anything, you killed them all and you went off, and then you dare come back here. Fuck you. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you.”
