I just finished watching Sense8 the other day! And I loved it. I was actually a lot more invested in the plots of the character's personal lives than all of the brain stuff, which made the final episode a bit polarising for me (especially because I felt there was too much Will - I like him just fine, but come on...although Riley's backstory was absolutely horrible and heartbreaking. I felt like their love story was starting to take over a bit). I loved Nomi and Amanita, and Lito and Hernando. Lito especially, because I found him hilarious and flawed. And Sun! Ahhhhhh Sun, I adored that her time in prison wasn't actually horrible and that most of the women there were good to each other. So all the time I was like - give me more Sun and Capheus and Kala and Lito please

Oh my gosh I tooooootally agree with you about the last episode. I like Will well enough, but, tbh, if he has to spend all of S2 in a drugged out coma.....I won't be that sad. And there was WAY too much focus on him and the Will/Riley story, which is nice enough but....after selling me on 6+ other characters for 11 episodes, an hour of the Will/Riley show is not going to keep me super engaged. We were trying to rush through the last four episodes so that we'd be done before I leave tomorrow morning, so we did four in one night (normally we do three at most) and I had heard that it was SO INTENSE! And I guess that the person who told me that was way more invested in Will and Will/Riley than I was because...I mean, it was kind of intense, I guess

So you know, your tweets gave me that extra push to watch the show! I'd seen gifs and edits on my Tumblr dash and while I was interested, because, sci-fi AND canon queer characters and couples that are MAIN and not side-lined? YES!, but I didn't have the drive to watch it for some reason. So, yeah, just FYI, your tweets were awesome and thank you for giving me that final push!

As for the TV show itself, I'm on episode 6 right now, and while I don't love it, it's interesting and I'm still tuning in for more. The writing and editing have their very weak points (the editing in particular is way too jarring, but maybe that's the style and maybe I'm just not a fan of it then), but the acting is spectacular and the idea is sound.

By the way, I don't think I ever let you know that I was following you on Twitter? I hope that's okay! I'm Chocobear_ over there. I'm so sorry for all those reply tweets you get from me
