First of all, hi, and thank you for writing for me! I said this in my Dear Author letter for the last fest, and I'll also say it here: I am generally super easy to please when it comes to fest fic, as the idea of someone writing something just for me is, in and of itself, enough to make me do the happydance. I generally enjoy fics of all stripes. I like porn, I like angst, I like fluff, I like wacky crackfic, and my squicks are shamefully few and far between. If, knowing that, you are still concerned about something you want to put in the fic, you can ask anon here or through the mods, but I am 95% certain I'll be fine with it.
Since I tend to be pretty verbose in the sign-up prompts themselves, you should probably already have a good handle on what I'm after with these. But I'm also totally okay with you making a 90-degree turn and taking any of these prompts a different way. When that happens, the fic is usually better than what I originally had in mind anyway!
There are only a couple clarifications and notes I'd like to make on these:
1) Just because I mentioned a ship in the prompt does not mean you should feel compelled to include that ship in the fic. All of my prompts could just as easily be gen, and I am every bit as happy with genfic as I am with shipfic.
2) You don't necessarily have to know anything about sentai or Akared if you're writing the Phantom Ranger prompt. It was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard about the trivia kerfuffle, but any other interpretation of who or what the Phantom is, is A-OK. The world just needs more Phantom Ranger fic.
3) I almost feel bad about asking for the Jake and Gia bromance fic, because there is so much about their canon portrayal that's problematic. But I can't help myself; they're freaking adorable when they're fighting side by side and just being friends and teammates and Jake's not being a lovesick ass for 5 minutes. So...yeah. More of that, please.
Thanks again, can't wait to see what you come up with! <3<3
