Having hope is the only way to be let down. Hope does nothing but let you down, painfully.

Hope is a useless emotion, and it gives us nothing but shallow dreams of realities that will never occur. It makes us build ourselves up so that we can get crushed by a greater force when the inevitable occurs.

Hope is heartless and has no place in rational thought.
