I've always felt like Bonnie's self-sacrifice is something that is largely singular to Elena and sometimes Jeremy (and has become more so over time)? IDK, I don't think Bonnie sacrifices for just anybody? She sacrifices for the few people she loves and whom she considers to be Worth It.I'd agree with that, for sure, but IMO it is still self-sacrificing? Just not necessarily consistent, or morally right, for that matter. I don't think she'd universally behave the way for other people as she has for Elena and Jeremy. I would kind of distinguish her thing about Jeremy from her thing about Elena at this point because he's so closely tied in with so many of her big crises of power that she has this big sunk-cost psychological investment in him that is pretty distinct from her devotion to Elena
