Letter to Bones

Apr 27, 2010 14:16

This is a letter I wrote and posted to Bones the week before "The Bones on a Blue Line", after I was really fed up with the LONG hiatus that we all went through.  Just think of it as a fan ranting :)

This is LONG! --You've been warned! :) )

bones, rant

Back to episode 100. I agree, it seems strange that Booth, the heart guy, would gamble it all, and then just give up like that. It does not sound like him, even if his brain tumor changed him. How could he not say "I'll help you change", or something similar? How could he not see and understand (being the one who uses his gut, and reads people like open books) that Brennan is pleading him to help her change? Yes, a part of me thinks that Brennan is not ready, and Booth & Brennan are not "on the same page", but a bigger part of me disagrees. Because they have come so far, and their relationship has evolved. It's been an amazing journey to watch. And it makes me sad that it doesn't feel like a journey I'd want to keep watching ( ... )
