In a way I'm jealous - I've been thinking lately that it might be good fun to get a dog, and I know that my son would LOVE it. But we just don't have room here - we're in a townhouse and have only a very small "backyard." And I also dread the thought of having to pick up poo.

So please post lots of cute pictures, okay? So I can live vicariously through you.

There are some breeds that live well in small spaces. Interestingly enough, the Great Dane is best accustomed to apartment living, and doesn't need a lot of exercise. You'll just have to move out to make room.

Hmnh . . . or, I could convince my husband to move out. Then we'd have plenty of room. The dog could have a whole big bedroom to himself. :P
