I wanted to say congratulations to everyone on my friends list, regardless of how you voted. You voted! I'm hoping this trend will extend up to our nation. We have always been a progressive country in our political views, and I don't want to see that lost. Your president could very well inspire the world ( Read more... )

I think if we had elections that were inspiring, it would encourage more Canadians to vote. I wasn't in the country at the time of the election, but if I had been... I don't think I would have voted anyway. I just couldn't bring myself to care enough.

I think if our candidates would try to connect with their constituents it would help.

I did vote, but I still felt apathetic toward my party leader. He didn't connect.
