I'm very much enjoying this four-day weekend. Back in my shift working days, four days off was a regular occurrence, so I likely would have been working this weekend and making mega-bucks. Instead, I took a long bike ride with my daughter, while my boys spent the day snowboarding on Mt. Seymour. I love life in Vancouver

He's just a moronic coke-head- I say this because last time he was in Austin a friend of mine (who is a fully recovered drug addict) got a call from old party friends saying 'hEYYYYY- Billy Bob Thorton is looking for some coke- you know where we can get some for him?' Blech.

I was wondering if the guy was stoned during this interview. I think he was high and an asshole on top of it. His band members seemed really embarrassed by his actions.

And why wouldn't he have connections in Huston if he so damned self-important? What a low life. The classier addicts at least have a discreet delivery service.

Oh, so that's where he knew John Ritter from. I guess fame can turn anyone into a jerk.

One thing though, no matter how great you think you are, nothing demeans you more than being booed on stage. It's very humbling, to say the least. Good for him.

Yup. He's aged a few years and cut his hair, but that's him. He's just as cute as ever, eh?

Swampland is even suggesting that Ghomeshi is bitter over his own lack of success outside his country, and is "lashing out" at the easy path The Boxmasters have had, due to Thornton's celebrity status.

I don't think he is bitter or lashing out, but that doesn't make the latter untrue. Why is Billy Bob so sensitive about that?
