I only have time for a quick post to thank everyone for the birthday wishes. It's always a good feeling to check the friends list on your birthday!

Between picking Matthew up from camp, cleaning up after sleep-overs, running the dog, and hiding from kids, I've only managed to get 100 pages in today, and hopefully another 100 tonight, but it doesn't matter. I'm just soooo happy to be spending time in this universe with these characters again!

Oi.

All over the lower mainland, every restaurant has duck on the menu. Roast duck, broiled duck, curried, Peking, even duck barbecued with a Kokanee beer up the ass.

That seems to be the only duck we've been able to cook. These Ducks are tough, and we're getting fried.
