Not long. I just formatted the spacebar to denote a period (my computer lets me do that). I don't know if I like it. It was a stylistic experiment.

the periods would logically seem to denote pause, but they actually eliminate the space between the words and cause me at least, to read it faster than normal

the periods certainly made me want to read it cuz it looked different. And I'm glad I did read it because I REALLY enjoyed it.
