Haha, I'm going to leave a pointless comment on my own LJ because this entry feels lonley with no comments. *melodramatic sniff*

boy, I've done that before. It's not pointless, it's good.

AAAH!! How did I miss this? I feel awful. hehe, i guess my friends page was acting up that day and I missed it then.

This is gorgeous! The edges look so complicated, but so pretty and feminin, if that's possible. :D I'm happy you posted these. Hopefully I'll be able to see your projects "live" sometimes soon.

Lots of Love,
Happy rainy day!

Anything feminine usually is complicated, right? Haha. Glad you like it so far. I just finished the main body part before lunch today. I wait to get started on the sides. Yes, everything is better 'live', then you can feel how SOFT it is! Love ya!

Thought you might want to read the update on this project in my comment to Janene below....or not, whatever.

That is really pretty! You'll have to post or send pics of the completed work. I was very smart and didn't take pics of the last baby blanket I made, and I just gave it away Sunday! Ack, oh well, I guess that just means I'll have to do another =) Keep up the good work!

Thanks!!! Actually the bad update on this is that by the time I finished the right side tie and kind of "tried it on", I realized it was WAY too small for me or most anyone. I didn't check gauge before I started because I figured it was just a scarf and I didn't have money to buy new needles anyway. Maybe when I block it, I can stretch it a little. I'll have to find a v. petite person with a small neck to give it too. Needless to say, I'm not very inspired to finish the other tie. I need to learn how to reattach yarn anyway.
I wish I could have seen your blanket!!!!! Oh well, I'll have to see the next one, lol.

That's really aggrivating when that happens with patterns! I did that with a Lopi sweater, I thought it would fit, and it should if I loose about 10 pounds, but it doesn't right now. I hope it works out for you after you block it(which is another thing I've never bothered to do, yikes!). Reattaching yarn is fun though, I like it =) As to my blanket, I had lots of left-over yarn, so I'll probably end up making another, hopefully I'll remember to take pictures this time!
