This was such a wonderful piece. Your character voices are just right and I really like your style. It was terribly funny and heartbreaking and heart-mending, too. Tim's final grasp at control ("What's wrong with me?") was the perfect note to play because in spite of all the embarrassment and awkwardness, of course the answer is 'nothing.' Dick was wonderful in handling it once he got the glue out of his brain. <3

Have you considered posting this to the dick_tim comm? Not everything posted there has to be 100% shippy so a one-sided brotherly love fic would fit in just fine. :)

Oh my gosh! Yay! I got a comment! I didn't think this day would come! lol. Thank you so much. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it.

I was actually thinking about posting it there but I wasn't sure if my story would fit in. I thought it would just be a place for shipping stories and that people might've gotten angry at me or something for posting something like this. But I could totally post it over there too. :D Thank you for the suggestion and all of the really nice things you said about my story.

Aw, more people just need to find it. It really is a great fic. :)

My interpretation of the community's Fics criteria is that slashing them is encouraged but not required and I know I've seen at least a few fics posted which weren't romantic pieces. I just wrote the owner to double check on what the official stance is - but if it's less than kosher with anyone for whatever reason they can just blame me for pointing you there. It's all documented here for your defense. XD

Although I kind of doubt it could be an issue because *gestures up* this is an awesome Dick and Tim fic, which still centers mainly on Dick/Tim thoughts and feelings. Not every romantic interest has a happy resolution and as an avowed Dick/Tim shipper I still find plenty to love here - such as the way Dick actually validates Tim's feelings even as he turns him down by taking him seriously and treating the issue with respect.

(And alright, I admit that my fanheart holds out hope for these two five to ten years down the road.)

Lol. okay.

And you're making me blush. With all of these compliments and what not. It's true I also really love DickTim and really just want them to be together forever but I didn't want a happy ending for a happy ending's sake. I mean it still kind of is a happy ending after they make up but it's not like a fairy tale ending.

In this universe I could totally see Tim having a crush on Dick but I don't think the feelings would be mutual until Tim grows up a little bit more.

But after finishing this I just want to write fluff of them being all lovey dovey and gooey together. XD

I really loved this. Though I am mostly a fan of this pairing when it works out, you still wrote this as awkward and heartbreaking and sweet and wonderful as any reader can ask for. The dialogue was fantastic, and all the inner angst of Tim was really well done, some people really take it way past reasonability, but this was very well measured. Everything was fantastic. Thank you. Have you got any more? I'd LOVE to read it :)

Thank you so much! I just- um- just thank you! I donn't know what to do with all of the really nice things you said about my story.

I actually don't have any more for this story. But I've been working on a different DickTim story that will actually result in the two being together but I don't know when I'll finish that...

Different DickTim-stories then, maybe? Becuase I'd love to read more from you, but I'm not exactly a genius with LJ, somehow I often end up having pushed the wrong thing and then panic sets in.. XD
